Comments

By default camera F1 is set. Camera F2 is chasing your own fighter only. Camera F3 shows one by one all the fighters. Camera F4 does the same but for heavy ships. Camera F5 keeps 2 fighters in sight: that one chosen by F3 and it's target. So first choose a fighter by F3 and then press F5. Camera F6 shows the scene from moving missile.

You can use both keyboard and joystick to control your fighter. A command to flight control system is the sum of keyboard and joystick-originated values. Exception is the throttle control: if you use keys (\,BkSp,[,]) to set your speed, thrust on your joystick will not work until relatively large movement is done (20% from it's current position).

Launch of missile will not be allowed until you target a ship. Use R,T or Y keys to choose a target.

Fighters can dock with any heavy ships except of The Core frigate. Docking with ships of the same coalition only is allowed. Cruisers are capable of docking up to 4 fighters simultaneously. The Outers frigate has place for 4 fighters at the docking site, though they are docking one by one. While one is on the way, others are waiting for permission. To dock with a ship, target it, then press D. If docking is possible, your fighter will be given a route and the first waypoint will be displayed on your HUD and onto 2D map. From then you just follow indication on your HUD. As you pass last waypoint your fighter activates autopilot system and takes its place at the dock site. Do not turn off autopilot at this stage! Docked fighters are completely repaired for 30 to 75 secs depending upon how serious damages they have. You can take off after 'Fighter OK' or 'Hull OK' indicated on the HUD.
